Mrs. Meyer, President Pro Tempore, will declare that nominations are open for President of the Big Walnut Local School Board of Education for 2016.
Nomination of Mindy Meyer for President by Allison Fagan
Motion for President to close nominations if only one nominee and that Mindy Meyer be elected as President of Big Walnut Local School Board of Education for 2016.
Mrs. Meyer, President Pro Tempore, will declare that nominations are open for Vice President of the Big Walnut Local School Board of Education for 2016.
Nomination of Andy Wecker for Vice President by Allison Fagan
Motion for Vice President to close nominations if only one nominee and that Andy Wecker be elected as Vice President of the Big Walnut Local School Board of Education for 2016.
Ms. Terri Eyerman Day, Treasurer, administers the oath of office to the newly elected President and Vice President of the Board of Education.
The newly elected President will now preside.
It is recommended the Board designate the third Thursday of each month of 2016 as the regular meeting date of the Big Walnut Board of Education. Meetings will be at 6:30 P.M. in the media center at Big Walnut High School.
It is recommended the Board approve, per ORC 3315.15, that the Big Walnut Board of Education may establish a service fund not to exceed $2.00 per child enrolled in the district, or $20,000.00, whichever is greater, to pay for the expenses actually incurred by board members in the performance of their duties. Recommend establishment of the Board Service Fund in the amount of $6,500.00.
It is recommended the Board adopt the following resolution:
It is recommended the Board authorize the law firm of Bricker and Eckler, to represent the Board of Education of the Big Walnut Local School District before the Delaware County Board of Revision with respect to all matters which the Big Walnut Board of Education may commence or be a party to before such Board of Revision during the 2016 calendar year.
It is recommended the Board appoint __________________ to the Program Year 2015 Tax Incentive Review Council.
It is recommended the Big Walnut Board of Education make the following appointments for 2016:
Legislative Liaison (OSBA) - Allison Fagan
Alternate Legislative Liaison (OSBA) - Brad Schneider
Student Achievement Liaison (OSBA) - Nicci Hess
Education Foundation Liaison - Nicci Hess
Sunbury / Big Walnut Joint Ventures Agreement Committee - Mindy Meyer
It is recommended the Big Walnut Board of Education members volunteer for the following current standing administrative advisory committees for 2016:
