It is recommended the Board approve the renewal of the district's property, liability, violence, vehicle, cyber, and pollution coverage through the Ohio School Plan effective July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025, at a cost of $259,263.

It is recommended the Board approve the upgrades to the BWMS auditorium to be completed by Summit Construction.

All HR items are pending receipt of successful background checks, verification of experience, and completion of all necessary documentation.


13.1 .

It is recommended the Board abolish the second shift, part-time custodial position at the Big Walnut Early Learning Center, effective June 28, 2024, and direct the Superintendent to identify the individual affected by the abolishment of this position in accordance with Article 14 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement for OAPSE #524.


13.2 .

It is recommended the Board accept the following resignations, effective at the end of the 2023/2024 school year:

  • Mary Anne Morehart, Genoa Christian Academy NPSS Clerk/Building Secretary, due to retirement
  • Andrea Heiden, SOU Intervention Specialist
  • Megan Sweet, SOU 1st Grade

It is recommended the Board approve the following five extended days for the 2024/2025 school year for Christina McDonough, BWHS Instructional Facilitator.
