It is recommended the Board approve the minutes from January 11, 2018, Organizational meeting, January 11, 2018, Regular meeting and the January 18, 2018, Regular meeting.
It is recommended the Board approve the following revised policy:
This is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not considered a public community meeting. This is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the agenda. (Please reference criteria for Public Participation, which is attached to the agenda.)
It is recommended the Board approve the 2017 Tax Rates for taxes collected in 2018 and estimated revenue.
It is recommended the Board approve the FY 2018 Alternative Tax Budget Information to be submitted to the County Auditor.

It is recommended the Board approve a 90-day classified contract for Bobby Kimes, 3rd shift custodian, Big Walnut High School, step 1, effective February 1, 2018.
It is recommended the Board approve the attached supplemental contracts, pending receipt of successful background checks, verification of experience, and completion of all necessary documentation, for the 2017/2018 school year.
It is recommended the Board approve the resignation of Stacye Hamby, Intervention Specialist, Big Walnut Intermediate School, effective at the end of the 2017/2018 school year.

It is recommended the Board enter Executive Session to consider the employment of a public employee, to discuss confidential information related to negotiations with other subdivisions regarding requests for economic development assistance, to confer with an attorney for the Board of Education concerning disputes involving the Board that are the subject of pending or imminent court action, and to consider the purchase of property for public purposes.
It is recommended the Board exit Executive Session and the meeting adjourns.
