11. Board Members Items of Interest
Mr. Brad Schneider

Minutes

  • Ms. Wood shared from an athletic standpoint it was exciting that the girls bowling team went to State for the first time in school history and four indoor track athletes qualified for State. In the arts, the boys, girls, and select choirs made it to State.  BWHS drama department is doing a third production,  which will be a cabaret/ talent show.  Also, vocal jazz ensemble has a performance at the middle school tonight  - high school and middle school groups are both performing. Over Spring Break the JV and Varsity baseball teams are very excited to be traveling to Myrtle Beach. Finally, on April 12 we will be wearing purple for military children.
  • Mr. Schneider indicated that the State released the first draft of the budget. In his initial review, it seems like it is basically a "don't do much of anything" approach. Cupp/Patterson has been on the road for about eighteen months sharing their perspective. He believes there is a meeting on April 1 that he might attend. Mr. Schneider does not expect any drastic changes for us.
