Construction Update

Mr. Swartz shared briefly what was occurring with the new building projects by going over the June 2019 summary.
Mr. Schneider asked if the weather was causing schedule impacts.
- Jeff and Bob with Gilbane shared that there have been impacts on our schedule, but they are doing all they can to rearrange tasks and work with subcontractors to keep the projects on schedule.
Mr. Swartz discussed a resident that would like to build a new house contiguous to our Middle School, they would like to have a driveway off of our current entrance off of Cheshire.

Minutes

Mr. Schneider shared that we had our meeting with the Village regarding fees a couple of weeks ago, and he wanted to see if we had heard anything back from them. There has not been any communications back from the Village, but we will reach out to the Village again and see if there is any new information.

This is a meeting of the Board of Education in public for the purpose of conducting the School District's business and is not considered a public community meeting. This is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the agenda. (Please reference criteria for Public Participation, which is attached to the agenda.)

10.1 19-070

Mr. Doug Swartz

It is recommended the Board approve the resolution authorizing the execution of the third amendment to CMR Agreement with Gilbane Building Company in the form of GMP #02A.

Minutes

Mr. Swartz, Mr. Sewell, and Mr. Baumann shared on GMP 2A.
Mr. Sewell shared that there was some bidding and purchasing benefits to having common controls, fire alarms, and hardscapes (sidewalks) in our buildings on this campus. Mr. Sewell shared that this package was on budget with a slight savings of $3,000.
